Functional Safety Lead (Homologation)
As a Functional Safety Lead you will work in for an Automotive company that develops On Road and Off-Road Vehicles from concept to launch. One of the key functions of this position is to support on the Implementation of Functional Safety measures at the project level in accordance with ISO 26262 and functional safety processes (eg technical safety concept)
View any legal restrictions versus predecessor’s vehicles; working with partners and contractors internationally – specifically but not limited to Europe, America and Middle East.
Data and documentation management; quality, safety management; a close working relationship with the Engineering Manager, Production, and Commercial team.
Implementation of Functional Safety measures at the project level in accordance with ISO 26262 and
functional safety processes
Work with vehicle program teams to implement Functional Safety
Active collaboration with the Functional Safety Manager (FSM)
Supporting the project teams in Functional Safety for vehicle systems (embedded software, hardware and mechanics) in the development process acc. ISO26262
Implementation and evaluation of safety analyzes (FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, CPA, FFI, DFA)
Participation in tool classification and qualification /Participation and support in Safety Assessments /Active participation in hardware and software design
Participation in test specifications as well as evaluation of the test results
Verification of security design and implementation of test specifications
Report to Functional Safety Manager (FSM) non-conforming regulatory issues
Degree in Automotive Engineering
Experience with a manufacturing, OEM or first tier 1 supplier
Experience in Functional Safety for vehicle systems (embedded software, hardware and mechanics)and in
the development process acc. ISO26262
Able to demonstrate direct knowledge of automotive design and engineering process, from concept to industrialisation;
Well-founded knowledge of safety analyzes , evaluation of safety analyzes (FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, CPA, FFI, DFA)
Strong time management, planning, integrity, and teambuilding skills.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally
